BBC2 Ravages Castle Salem Ireland
May 6th 1999 - Though Cromwell spared Castle Salem 400 years earlier, England's BBC2 was a force not be ignored. Led by a film crew boasting 10 strong roadies and one TV "personality," and supported by a column of TV trucks, BBC2 stormed Castle Salem for 4-1/2 hours. Many a scone were taken, and copious amounts of tea were consumed. In the end, two minutes of Castle Salem film were produced for the airing on the BBC2 programme "WebWise Challenge."
